All EST medics are certified in CPR and Standard First Aid. In addition, every team member is either an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or in the process of becoming one. Weekly training sessions and monthly evaluations are mandatory for all medics to maintain and update their skills. The Team also completes special training programs with CORE, Student Counseling Services, Clayton Fire and Ambulance, and other professional medical personnel throughout the year.
